TITLE: Cost Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Technical Accountant, where you'll report directly to the Director of Technical Accounting. In this pivotal role, you'll engage in various cross-functional projects within the Corporate Financial Reporting department. Your primary mission will be to ensure our accounting practices align with GAAP standards, focusing on revenue recognition and lease accounting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure adherence to GAAP standards, particularly in areas of revenue recognition and lease accounting.
• Contribute to the due diligence processes and the accounting of business combinations, ensuring robust documentation and control processes are in place.
• Engage in special accounting projects as needed.
• Support the financial close process at the end of each month, quarter, and year, aiding in intercompany reconciliations and preparations for Corporate Holding Companies.
• Oversee the management of our lease accounting compliance software, including offering technical support, managing access controls, and generating reports for users company-wide.
• Perform other related duties as necessary within the Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting team.
• Participate in the preparation of the company's quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K SEC filings.
• Help in the development and maintenance of the company's accounting policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role.
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• A solid foundation in basic accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Experience with Oracle, SAP, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) systems is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with management at all levels, including senior executives.
