Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manual QA Engineer to contribute to our mobile application testing efforts. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our complex and high-impact mobile platforms.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android) to identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of new features and enhancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate test results, prioritize issues, and drive timely resolutions
• Document and track defects using issue tracking tools, and participate in defect triage meetings
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile application testing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years od Manual testing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in manual testing for mobile applications, with a strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective testing frameworks
• Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications is a plus
