JOB SUMMARY:

The Monitoring Technician is responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.

The technician delivers telemetry to in patient units and performs monitor connection/discharge, patient preparation, and teaching related to the monitor.

EDUCATION:

High school graduate or equivalent

Telemetry and/or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course preferred

Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Certification/Licensure:

BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required

$21.35 Hourly Rate
