A Special Procedure Technologist to join our Cardiac Cath Lab!

Professional caregiver who is responsible for the preparation of the patient prior to the procedure,

To assist the physician during the performance of cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary intervention, peripheral angiograms and interventions, permanent pacemaker procedures, and neurological angiograms and interventions,

Participates in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities,

Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to provide age specific treatment,

Weeknight, weekend, and holiday on call component with 30 minute response time required,

Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

Graduate of approved School of Radiologic Technology,

Licensed by the State Of New Jersey

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology,

BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion status

Preferred ACLS course completion status,

Completion of Dysrhythmia course,

Successful completion of all required orientation programs,
