Job Overview:

In this key role, the Scheduler/Receptionist performs a variety of scheduling and reception functions for all imaging procedures, including telephone interactions with physicians, patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to work independently
• Must possess customer service skills
• Able to handle heavy call volumes
• Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks

Preferred:

• Medical terminology/radiology preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required

• N/A

Scheduling Requirements:

• 9:30am-6:00pm
• Must be able to work holiday and weekend rotation
• Per Diem

Essential Functions:

• Must be flexible to work in various department locations within CMC as needed.

• Telephone interactions with physicians, patients, visitors, and staff.
• Communicate with patients and physicians to schedule radiology exams.
• Greet patients and process admitting documentation.
• Importing CD s of patients prior exams and image management tracking.
• Must be flexible with schedule hours, if needed.
