Job Overview:

The Registered Nurse is expected to ensure the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administer medications accurately and safely. Document according to policies and procedures and demonstrating technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

Required:

• Current New Jersey RN license required
• ASN
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing,
• IV certification required

Preferred:

• BSN or must be willing to obtain within 5 years of hire
• BLS and ACLS or must be willing to obtain within 3 months of hire
• EPIC experience preferred

Essential Duties:

• The Same Day nurse is responsible for the admission and assessment of patients prior to surgery
• Assist anesthesia for bedside procedures
