POSITION SUMMARY

To provide and administer all aspects of respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients which include but not limited to:

- Oxygen therapy

- Mechanical ventilation management

- Arterial blood gas procedure

- Aline insertion

- Intubations

- Bronchodilator therapy

- Noninvasive mechanical ventilation management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

High School graduate

AAS required, BS preferred

Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program, RRT or CRT

Licensed by the State of New Jersey to practice respiratory care

BLS required, ACLS preferred

Higher education is desired and encouraged
