Assesses patients' pulmonary status, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the physician and nurses and delivers respiratory care to patients,

Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments,

EDUCATION:

• A.A./A.S. Degree from a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) School for Respiratory Care required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• New Jersey license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Certifications in PALS and NRP to be obtained within the first twelve months of employment.
