JOB SUMMARY:
Trinitas Regional Medical Center operates one of the most comprehensive departments of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry in New Jersey. Working in our Crisis/Intermediate Child & Adolescent unit, psychiatric nurses are assigned a caseload of patients and provide direct care to these patients, which includes facilitating social and emotional needs, supervising medication schedules and evaluating patient progress as well as educating the patient and their family regarding their condition. These nurses also supervise the overall schedule of their shift and work as part of a interdisciplinary team whose focus is providing the best possible care for their patients.

EDUCATIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• NJ License to practice as R.N. in satisfactory standing
• Ability to perform all competencies of the position is required.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Prior experience with psychiatric population preferred.
• Previous registered nurse experience required.
