JOB SUMMARY:

Provides pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care, under the direction and supervision of the attending surgeon and in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the hospital and the state Physician’s Assistant Act. Participates in student and patient education.

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited Physician Assistant and/or Nationally accredited Nurse Practitioners program and Masters degree.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners
• Successful of all required orientation programs
• ACLS certification
