RWJBarnabas Health is Hiring a Physical Therapist (FT Day) - Physical Therapy - New Brunswick, NJ) Near Brunswick, NJ
RWJBH is seeking a Physical Therapist for our New Brunswick campus. This is a full time position (40 hours per week).
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients in the acute care setting. Duties include patient and family intervention on all nursing units including, but not limited to: Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Cardiac, Critical Care, Trauma, General Medicine and Telemetry, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics. Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills required for intra disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication.
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of accredited program in Physical Therapy at the Baccalaureate or post Baccalaureate level required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New Jersey board license and registration required.
- Active membership in a professional organization is encouraged but not required.
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required.
- Successful completion of all orientation programs.
- Rotating weekend availability is required.
