RWJBarnabas Health is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician (Per-Diem) Near Livingston, NJ

JOB SUMMARY:

The pharmacy technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical and manipulative tasks involved in dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups (includes geriatrics, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal). Work and/or performance shall conform to written established hospital policies and procedures.

EDUCATION:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Associates degree preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 1 year of Pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with NJ board of Pharmacy
  • PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification within 6 months of employment.
