JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of a qualified Physician and Chief Technologist, accurately performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. Maintains safety regulations and cleanliness standards within the section. Follows departmental and section policies and NRC guidelines. Uses and understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.
