RWJBH is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for our Medical Surgical Areas at the New Brunswick campus,
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling; Monday through Friday with some weekend commitment requirement 40hours per week
Requirements and Qualifications:
Sound Medical Surgical experience of at least 5 years strong communication and organizational skills
Active NJ Registered Professional Nurse
BSN required, MSN preferred or must be enrolled in MSN program
National certification for clinical specialty required, BLS and ACLS are required
Proficient computer skills
Responsibilities:
Plan and design orientation, continuing education, and in-service programs in accordance with the requirements of NJ Board of Nursing current regulatory guidelines the Code of Ethics and institutional guidelines
Implement and evaluate educational activities/programs
Develop and maintain employee records
Serve as a resource person for education and promoted education in the Nursing Division,
Responsible for maintaining competencies as required by regulatory agencies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and deliver education to ensure quality and best practice
