Location: West Odessa, TX
Pay: $35.00/hr $110 daily per diem for 7 days
Hours: Working 10's Monday-Saturday and occasionally Sunday. *Day or Night Shift availability required*
Description:
We are seeking a proficient Millwright with extensive experience in the industrial construction and maintenance fields.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and layout plans for machinery and equipment installation.
- Level and align machinery and equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and fans.
- Set impeller clearance on pumps and adjust fan blades.
- Perform precision alignments and measurements.
- Maintain, repair, and overhaul machinery as needed, ensuring optimal performance.
- Apply specialized knowledge of metals, bearings, seals, and hydraulic systems in daily duties.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial construction or maintenance.
- Proficient in various alignment techniques and knowledgeable about different types of machinery, including multi-stage and vertical pumps, cooling tower units, gearboxes, gas and steam turbines.
- Required to have an understanding of machine shop equipment, hydraulic and IRD readings.
- Must possess all required tools for the trade.
- Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces, potentially exceeding 300 ft.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to environmental challenges.
- Availability for overtime, nights, and weekends as dictated by project needs.
