Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting the facility maintenance manager.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance duties such as drywall, minor plumbing, basic electrical, minor framing, painting, carpentry, heating/ventilation systems, etc.
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, jacks, and hoists.
• Ability to perform construction duties such as drywall, roofing, and demo work. As well as be able to perform manual labor.
• Clean the interior of the building, as well as the machinery, equipment, and exterior of the building.
• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment and report needs to the supervisor.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• All other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Electrical, plumbing, and construction experience are preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the shift.
• Forklift experience preferred or will be trained.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work weekends/overtime.
• Deadline and detail orientated.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Must be able to pass background and drug tests.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and experience in the construction industry are highly desirable.
