Job Description: Safety /Training and Asset Manager

Reports to: Operations Managers/President

Hourly, $22 - $26 an hour DOE, Full Time, Benefits

Position summary: The Safety and Asset Manager will manage, coordinate, and provide all safety training and tracking of employees of Road Work Ahead Traffic Services, Sage Supply Inc, and Twin Falls Signs. This position will also work with management to coordinate and track all assets and repairs for all the companies listed above.

Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

- Track employee safety and certifications; facilitate training as needed for compliance.

- Track and facilitate employee training on company assets and policies/procedures as needed.

- Track accidents and incidents with employees and equipment.

- Fleet management through various programs; online and written.

- Facilitate asset repair through assigned repair personnel or outside vendors.

- Administer safety bonus programs.

- Facilitate onsite and jobsite inspections as needed across all company markets.

- Other duties as needed. Work with other departments as needed.

- Work with yard personnel on safety protocols and procedures.

- Supervise workers in confined spaces on an as needed basis.

- Develop and implement asset management strategies and plans

- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of assets to identify maintenance needs

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including NEC, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), and workers' compensation requirements

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement asset management policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Ability to multitask and provide thorough follow up.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices

- Proven experience in asset management, preferably in the construction industry

- Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations. Any other relevant regulations.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to travel to other locations for training as needed.

- Valid Drivers License with good driving record that allows individual to be company insured.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Required certifications: (will provide some training as needed, but looking for experienced professionals)

- OSHA 10, 30, 511

- Forklift, Confined Space, Rigging, Lockout Tagout, and Respiration Protection training certifications, any other certifications as needed.

- ATSSA training as needed. Needed to understand job duties of company employees. (May be asked to flag as needed)
