Job Summary: **This is a part-time seasonal position from April - October 2024.**

We are looking for a hard worker who loves maintaining an outdoor property for Oasis RV Resort in Gunnison, Colorado. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and good communication skills. This is a physically demanding role that may require lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and operating machinery.

We hire RVers who can live onsite. With your application, please include a note about your status as an RVer and your timing for being able to arrive at this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of park facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify areas in need of maintenance or repair.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and minor system maintenance.
• Assist in the upkeep of the grounds, including mowing, trimming hedges, and removing debris.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repair services in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all park facilities are clean and well-maintained, including restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and common areas.
• Be diligent about the safety and operations of the park and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow checklists and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years prior experience in maintenance and repair work, particularly in an RV park or similar setting, strongly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds regularly.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb.
• Able to work outdoors frequently and in various climates.
• Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain.
