The essential job functions of the DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS are as follows but not limited to the duties listed below:
The Director of Operations is responsible for establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, goals, objectives and standards that will improve the day-to-day operations. Reviews overall hospital quality performance goals and ensures objectives are met. This includes personnel oversight, providing on-going Quality Improvement monitors, ensuring current standards are met and ensuring that the skills and educational needs of the staff are met. The Director is responsible for the quality of patient care. The Director ensures that safe patient care is provided by qualified, competent, patient care staff to all patients who are present to the clinics.
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work Education, Nursing or a related professional field.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in health care administration, preferably in an acute psychiatric setting.
Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations and state and federal regulatory standards. Must be able to meet our Covid 19 vaccination requirements.
