Join a team dedicated to forward thinking and inclusivity at the Rutland County Parent Child Center (RCPCC). RCPCC is looking to fulfill a full-time Resource Navigation Coordinator position. This role will work to improve navigation across local human resource agencies to help reduce case management requirements that limit a family’s ability to pursue and fulfill their goals. The majority of the work will focus on planning and hosting social capital events that allow families and social workers to create natural connections in a group environment. This is a new and exciting position that utilizes innovative approaches to support families in helping them to achieve personal goals and build organic positive social networks.

Candidates will need to be willing to think outside of the box, engage in regular community outreach, plan and facilitate events, as well as track data trends and modify assessment tools as necessary. Bachelor's degree required in social services, psychology, education, sociology, anthropology or a related field. Previous case management experience is encouraged. Letter of interest required. This position also requires driving; therefore, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance is required. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills with both children and adults, is reliable, driven, can adhere to firm deadlines, shows extraordinary patience (children have Herculean inner strength) and a wellspring of joy (we want you to love what you do and we want our children and families to know it). (These qualities are as important as your degree).

Knowledge of Microsoft programs and Google Drive is necessary.
