ELA Academic Interventionist
Rutland Intermediate School
Rutland City Public Schools seeks an energetic and dedicated educator to serve as Academic Interventionists at Rutland Intermediate School beginning in August 2024. The successful candidate will serve as an instructor at Tier II and III within the 3-6 multi-tiered system of support. The candidate will also serve as a co-leader of the Educational Support Team at RIS and provide guidance and in-class support for Tier 1 and 2. Strong background and experience with the science of reading. A genuine interest in making a difference for students and teachers is a must! Vermont Teaching license in Elementary Education, Reading, or the ability to obtain same is required.
The position will serve our 3-6 students as part of an instructional team. The educator is expected to have a broad knowledge of English Language Arts instruction, to work with assessment data in collaboration with teams of educators, and to be a continuous learner.
