Rustic Yankee in Niantic seeks an individual who has the ability to work independently and collaboratively to fill our part time social media position.

We are a new woodworking company, specializing in rustic home decor and custom furniture. We are seeking a creative social media specialist who is​ excited about our original pieces as we are! Ideally, this person also has experience with website design platforms such as Squarespace.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, reach our target audience, and create sales conversions.
- Create compelling and shareable content across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and others.
- Manage and maintain the company's social media accounts, including posting updates, creating videos and responding to comments.
- Analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize content performance
- Collaborate with business team on marketing, design, and sales, to align social media efforts with overall business goals.
- Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
