Russo Property Management is currently seeking (2) experienced Painters with a strong background in multi-family residential maintenance. The individual that holds this position is ultimately responsible for any and all painting and spackling that will be needed within our portfolio of 15 properties across Northern New Jersey.

The candidate chosen for the position will be traveling to all of our luxurious properties.

Position Responsibilities:

• Preserving interior and exterior upkeep of painted areas of the properties.
• Performing commercial painting/wallcovering as scheduled.
• Restoring painted areas through the facility to new-like conditions.
• Performing dry wall repairs as needed.
• Tapes and spackles drywall in preparation for painting. Fills nail holes, cracks and joints with putty, plaster, and other filler.
• Performs caulking, sanding, taping, application of special finishes and color matching, waxing, and polishing of finished surfaces and glazing as necessary.

Requirements

• Graduate of a trade or vocational school program in building maintenance or related field preferred
• Must have 4 years of commercial painting experience
• Must have experience with cutting in, brushing, rolling, taping, and being able to keep environment clean.
• Must be able to work independently without too much direction and control.
• Must be able to travel and coordinate with properties personnel daily.
• Knowledge of the building maintenance industry.
• Ability to operate lifts to 35’.
• Able to safely operate power and hand tools is a must.
• Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor.
• Proactive self-starter
