Production Coordinator

Location: Santa Monica, CA (hybrid)

Schedule: Part Time, 36 hours/week during the summer

(Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 in office, Friday 9:00-1:00 work from home); Fall reverts to 40-hour work week with 8-hour Friday.

Contract Duration: May 16, 2024 - Nov 15, 2024

Pay Range: 18-22/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

• Support planning, scheduling, and monitoring of all production aspects.
• Maintain clear communication between Creative, Marketing, A&R, Manufacturing, and Production Departments, as well as outside design, pre-press, and print vendors for timely project delivery.
• Perform intensive data input and manage scheduling systems.
• Learn and master various UMG specific proprietary software programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by company management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in production or similar role.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Critical, agile, and creative thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Internet research, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom.
• General computer savvy with a competence in mastering new programs and software.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-directed, well-organized, with high attention to detail and good follow-through.
