RUSSELL MEDICAL is Hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician (PRN/As Needed) Near Alexander, AL
Job Summary:
Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
PRN of as needed in the Russell Retail Pharmacy
Hours would vary during department opening Monday-Friday with shifts from 8am-4:30pm or 9:30am-6pm
- EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. College courses desired but not required.
- EXPERIENCE: 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Current pharmacy technician registration. Eligible for pharmacy technician certification with AL Board of Pharmacy.
