A Russell Cellular Customer Experience Marketing Manager is a key management and leadership role within the Russell Cellular operations. Customer Experience Marketing Managers are responsible for ensuring that customers have positive interactions with the brand at every touchpoint. This role is a combination of leading and developing a team of marketing specialists and working to shape the vision of how we communicate with our customers. By developing skills in customer experience management, Customer Experience Marketing Managers can contribute to customer retention and satisfaction, which are critical to a company's success. This role is responsible for all day-to-day operations and strategic decisions made in regard to our marketing efforts for 750 retail locations. All of which align with the goals and direction of the Russell Cellular sales strategy and industry evolution. This position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.
What will you do in your role:
A Marketing Manager will be expected to complete the following, but not all inclusive, list of tasks/assignments:
Team Development and Leadership
  • Responsible for leading and growing a team of 3-5 team members
  • Audit department processes to provide feedback
  • Responsible for recruiting, orienting, scheduling and training employees
Customer Relationship Management through Salesforce
  • Design and execution of successful customer engagement utilizing Salesforce journeys in Marketing Cloud
  • Understanding customer journey tracks and interest
  • Intelligent and strategy planning for targeted customer campaigns
  • Reporting on ROI and sales growth from journeys and campaigns
Agency and Partnership Relation Management
  • Communicating with agency and branding partners to assure branding requirements are met
  • Maintain marketing budgets and developing and maintaining relations with third party vendors
 Public Relations & Company Image
  • Social Media Management: Maintaining and refreshing digital footprint
  • Digital location listing and review management
  • Press Release creation and distribution
 Metrics & Analytics
  • Providing conversion funnel and ROI reporting based on marketing efforts
  • Website traffic and sales analytics (pixels, SEM, SEO, etc.)
Website Design and Maintenance
  • Maintain website content and oversight site design. Driving Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and analyzing and optimizing website traffic
Creative Design
  • Responsible for general creatives for company
  • Maintaining digital asset libraries and keep a keen eye for creative materials and content verbiage
 Events and Field marketing
  • Partnership with field sales leaders to drive grassroots marketing efforts.
  • Develop and maintain field event guidelines and approval process and supporting field events by coordinating booth space, logistics, payment, and merchandise
 General Merchandising
  • Develop and maintain store planogram for product placement (in collaboration with Product Purchasing team)
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to maintain consistency across store displays
Minimum qualifications required:
  • Five or more years in relevant work experience
  • Degree in Marketing or Business preferred
  • Telecommunications or Wireless industry preferred (not required)
  • 1-2 Years of Leadership; Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to build relationships, positive team leader with an ability to inspire others
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud strategy and implementation experience
  • Agency relationship management experience
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Windows and Adobe Suite
  • Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical including time sensitive deadlines, and project management deadlines
  • Proven ability to undertake multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures
