Russ' Commissary is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in our warehouse, coolers, and freezers.
We are a USDA facility providing wholesome, made-from-scratch, safe, good food to Russ' Restaurants and other local companies throughout West Michigan. Responsibilities:
•Pick orders with accuracy for restaurants and retail customers
•Prepare and load trucks for deliveries
•Receive and ship items following internal protocol
•Ensure proper rotation of stock using FIFO method
•Document information required for shipping & receiving
•Maintain safe, clean and organized environment
•Occasional deliveries may be required (Good driving record required)
•Be able to effectively communicate in English
•Other duties as assigned
Skills:
•Forklift operator (1-year preferred experience and certification)
•Chauffeur's License
Physical Qualifications :
•Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day
•Ability to walk, stand and constantly be moving on your feet for the duration of each workday
•Ability to work in a cold environment, as necessary
