Main job responsibilities:
Shift will be 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Medical receptionist responsibilities:
- Answering and routing calls
- Face of the facility - good customer service is a must
- Checking patients in as needed
- Gatekeeping front desk
- Screening everyone who comes into the door
- Providing patient family members with information
- Make any add-on patient charts and ensure all charts are up to date for the next business day
- Completing medical records audits
- Scanning in insurance authorizations and correspondence
