Rush Enterprise is Hiring a Tire Technician Near Houston, TX

The Tire Technician provides service on tires for commercial truck and equipment units.

Responsibilities:

  • Mount and dismount tires at service station or on the road.
  • Proper installation of tires and valve stems.
  • Responsible for inventory of tires.
  • Flat repairs at service station and roadside.
  • Take photos of customer bill back tires, give to administrator with description of failure.
  • Report any tire supplies or tools needed to foreman (all purchases are approved through the foreman or service manager prior to ordering).
  • Keep track of company equipment and property in shop and on the road.
  • Assist porter with keeping shop clean.
  • Wash units (if needed after scheduled work hours, with approval of foreman).

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Valid commercial driver’s license and be insurable according to Company standards.
