GM Certified Technician Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicles on all automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, drivability, etc.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs

GM Certified Technician Requirements

• Highschool or GED equivalent education
• Must have valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• Background and Drug screening required
• 3 years' experience in automotive repair - dealership experience preferred
• General Motors certification courses highly preferred
• Master level equivalent ASE certifications will be considered
• 10-hour day shift
• Positive team-oriented attitude a must!!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
