The Production manager is responsible for all oversea (mainly China) production activities required to ensure the quality components are produced and shipped on-time while leading world class manufacturing practices. This position is integral in the development of long range strategic planning with regard to Employee Engagement, Customer Service, learn manufacturing and related infrastructure that drive targeted financial objectives for sustained competitive performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Participated and contributes to the SOP process to establish and enable supply side resources required to execute production plans.
* Works directly with factory and customer service to develop detailed production plans required to meet on time delivery objectives.
* Follow up on all products being processed through the factory , which requires being pro-actively involved with upstream and downstream product movement. Works with factory and ensure smooth product flow.
* Responsible for on time delivery, quality, and profitability.
* Ensure that all internal control documents are properly utilized within the departments, as well as upstream and downstream at other departments.
*Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
Educational/Training Requirement:
* Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university
Experience:
5 years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong verbal and written skills.
* Proven self-starter with exceptional organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize, develop action plans and follow through.
* Good presentation skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to work well under pressure and to remain flexible to changing demands.
* Chinese is a plus
