We are seeking an entry level Industrial Air Compressor Technician who is interested in splitting their work hours between on the job paid training to become an Industrial Air Compressor Tech and completing shipping and receiving responsibilities in our Cincinnati, OH location. This is a full time position at 40 hours a week.

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have the same positive experience no matter the location maintain positive customer relations while resolving concerns and answering questions.
• Perform various shipping and receiving duties (receiving, delivery, pickup, shipping, etc.).
• Lift heavy boxes, files, and machinery when needed (50 lbs.).
• Comply with all safety procedures and precautions.
• Handle time-sensitive material such as confidential and/or urgent packages.
• Regularly utilize UPS WorldShip for shipping.
• Availability must include on call and after hours work when necessary once trained.
• Ability to drive flatbeds, pick-up trucks, and pull behind trailers.
• Ability to load/unload freight using a forklift and/or hoist; forklift certification a plus.
• Perform service and repair of piston and rotary screw air compressors, multi-brand compressors (oil-flooded and oil-free), and refrigerated/desiccant air dryers once trained.
• Install new equipment once trained.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance once trained.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner once trained.

Requirements Include

• Maintain a valid driver’s license with low-incident driving record.
• Excellent work ethic and self-motivated.
• Proficient in problem solving, process analysis, and troubleshooting in high-pressure situations
• Some experience in Air Compressors.
• Read and comprehend written technical information (manuals, parts' books, and relevant publications).
• Ability to walk, stoop, sit, and reach.
• Must be able to climb ladders, use lifts, and work in an elevated position on a frequent basis.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
