Job Overview:

We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join our crushing crew at our gravel pits. Experience not necessary as we can task train you to operate equipment. An ideal candidate will have a desire to operate various heavy equipment and machinery, including but not limited to dump trucks, loaders, skid steers, crushers and screeners, graders, and water trucks. A ten hour work day is required most days during the crushing season, generally April through October.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment efficiently and safely
- Perform tasks such as digging, building, grading, and transporting materials
- Ensure equipment is in good working condition by conducting regular inspections
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times during operations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications

Experience:

- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, skid steers, crushers and screeners. graders, and water trucks.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Previous experience in commercial driving is a plus
- Ability to operate equipment with precision and attention to detail
