"The Original" Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q's has an immediate opportunity to join our Repair & Maintenance Team in the San Antonio, Texas area.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for performing all aspects of preventive maintenance program at our four locations, commissary, and corporate area.
- Examples of equipment on the program facility HVAC equipment, unit coolers, barbeque pits, steam kettles, parking lots etc.
- Maintains continuity by documenting maintenance actions, noting system or equipment irregularities requiring continued monitoring.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment
- Maintains part and equipment inventory.
- Responses to in-coming work request.
- Schedules and executes “projects” resolving from PM program or facility inspections.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, and Welding principles.
- Skill in using power, pneumatic and hand tools.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to team members, managers, and supervisor.
- Ability to be a self-starter, work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to develop work timelines and meet agreed deadlines.
Physical Requirements of Job:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to reach above shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat, sit, stand and twist. Work is repetitive in nature.
- Work is performed safety indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work is required to be performed and mitigated in wet, dirty, smoking, cold and hot environment.
- Work in units is performed ideally outside the regular operating hours of the restaurant, which may require scheduling that work early in the day or at night.
This is a full time 38-40 hour a week position, rotating weekends, evenings and on-call days.
Must have reliable transportation and your own tools.
