Job Title: Entry Level Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Shift: 3rd

Our company is looking for an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team. This entry-level role requires competence with basic hand tools as well as a strong desire to learn. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the maintenance trade and expand their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Trouble shoot and maintain equipment within the plant
• Uses technical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic to aid in the troubleshooting and repair of various equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility and production equipment
• Troubleshoot production equipment
• Perform scheduled repairs & PM’s to various equipment.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment
• Support other Maintenance Staff
• Basic Computer skills with MS office and windows
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Must be able to use basic hand tools
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures
• Use variety of hand tools
• Willingness to learn
• Positive attitude
• Team player

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TOO

• Lock Out Tag Out
• Follow all Food Safety regulations
• Wear hearing protection in all areas of the plant
• Follow all common employee safety practices
• Must understand MSDS sheets and the safe use of chemicals
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• No blocking of emergency exits, fire doors or eye wash stations

EDUCATION

• High School or GED preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Basic math skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.75 - $31.75 per hour
