- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all aspects of irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and backflow preventers.
- Diagnose and resolve irrigation system problems efficiently and effectively.
- Winterize and spring-start irrigation systems to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform system adjustments to optimize water efficiency and promote healthy landscapes.
- Work collaboratively with landscape crews to ensure irrigation systems are compatible with landscaping projects.
- Maintain detailed service records for each client's irrigation system.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
- May assist with other landscape maintenance and installation tasks as needed.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Irrigation Technician or related field.
- Strong understanding of irrigation system principles, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components of irrigation systems.
- Experience with backflow prevention devices and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to quality service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
