Job Description
As a Procurement Specialist, you will utilize industry expertise as well as customer and vendor specific knowledge to determine procurement and replenishment strategies for multiple customers across multiple markets and distribution centers. As a Procurement Specialist, you will assist procurement and sales team(s) in making purchasing decisions based on commodity markets while ensuring open line of communication regarding business related updates such as product availability or commodity pricing. In this role you will oversee daily management of order processing for strategic customers as well as help to manage, analyze and present data in a meaningful and actionable way. Additionally, in this role, you will deliver effective vendor and customer support through accurate processing of passing’s, confirmations, and pricing related files. Other duties and responsibilities to be assigned.
