Job Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Associate, you will support the Accounting Department by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in nearly all functional areas and transactions.

• Accounts Payable: Process and organize invoices to ensure invoices are paid and received timely
• Accounts Receivable: Manage cash application, ensure all cash receipts are applied properly
• Assist in updating current process 
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding payments/invoices to vendors 
• Collections: Assure timely collection of monies due, when applicable

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail 
• Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
• Microsoft Office (Strong Excel)
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed and deadline-oriented
• Strong computer skills
• Technical knowledge of accounting policies and procedures 
• 2-3 years of previous experience in an accounting or finance position
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (High School Diploma required)
