Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This is a crucial role in our business, ensuring that our products reach our customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport goods to designated locations

- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment and techniques

- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the Warehouse Supervisor

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service

- Assist with inventory control by verifying and documenting delivered items

- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient order fulfillment

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes

- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and other mechanical tools

- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

- Physical stamina to load and unload heavy items as needed

- Attention to detail for accurate inventory control

- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
