Rubie is Hiring a Sales Floor Associate/Cashier Near Charleston, SC

Overview

At Rubie, we bring the hottest women's fashion trends at the most competitive prices. We are hiring for the grand opening of our brand-new store at the Northwoods Mall! We will be hiring motivated individuals with customer service and experience to join our new team at Rubie Northwoods! Overall, Sales Associates are expected to help achieve store sales, create a positive and energetic work environment, manage sales associates, build customer loyalty and relationships, and keep the store in tip-top shape!

Applicants should have a deep interest & love for fashion, care about making customers feel and look their best, and know how to lead a team in a retail store. Responsibilities

[LEADERSHIP]

  • Excellent organization and display skills for the sales floor, cash wrap, fitting rooms, and back rooms. Having a good sense of style for manikin & overall floor display is required.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Excellent reporting and finance skills; accurately report all finances i.e., opening/closing the register.
  • Excellent people skills. Ability to manage and delegate employees and tasks. Must be able to manage and hold sales associates accountable for their attendance, performance, and behavior.
  • Shift Managers will be responsible for ensuring Loss Prevention of any theft, damages, and/or waste.
  • Other responsibilities will be further explained in detail during training after official hiring.

[SALES]

  • Proactively engage in driving sales to effectively demonstrate sales results during scheduled shifts
  • Must be a team player and contribute to meeting the overall selling goals and company initiatives
  • Provide efficient, friendly and accurate service at the cash wrap

[CUSTOMER SERVICE]

  • Provide the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our customers at all times—on the selling floor, in the fitting room, and at the cash wrap
  • Greet and acknowledge customers with a friendly, engaging attitude, and be prepared to offer exceptional customer service
  • Be knowledgeable on all products offered to share expertise and help find solutions to customers’ needs
  • Always prioritize assisting customers over other operational tasks
  • Engage with customers to build a loyal and satisfied customer base

[DISPLAY]

  • Maintain a neat appearance of the store and ensure the sales floor is organized
  • Unload new shipments and ensure merchandise is appropriately displayed in a timely manner
  • Assist with floor display, manikin/window changes, and merchandise presentation
  • Keep backroom and storage organized

[OPERATIONS]

  • Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Protect physical assets of the company by abiding by Loss Prevention and safety measures
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to adhere to company standard
  • Maintain productivity goals by engaging in daily maintenance/operations during non-peak hours
  • Contributes to a positive and professional work environment

[SKILLS & BEHAVIOR]

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, depending on store hours and business needs
  • Confident and comfortable engaging with customers
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated worker who is able to initiate and complete tasks without constant supervision
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
  • Must be able to work on the sales floor for an extended period of time

[EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE]

  • Previous management & retail experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stock room (i.e., prolonged standing, bending, squatting)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
