**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating denture wax-ups for set-ups and finishes, has worked with acrylic and valplast material , be able to repair acrylic and flexible dentures, as well as polish dentures.

**Duties:**

• Read prescriptions or specifications, and examine models and impressions, in order to determine the design of dental products to be constructed.
• Mix plaster, stone or acrylic pastes; and pour materials into molds or over frameworks in order to form dental prostheses or apparatus.
• Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays for use.
• Build and shape wax teeth, using small hand instruments and information from observations or dentists’ specifications.
• Mold wax over denture set-ups in order to form the full contours of artificial gums.
• Rebuild or replace linings, wire sections, and missing teeth in order to repair dentures.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in laboratory.

**Skills:**

- Familiarity with dental terminology

- Experience using micrometers for precise measurements

- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
