Responsibilities for Outside Sales Representative
• Build strong and successful relationships with owners, department/store level personnel within a territory in order to maximize sales results through all stages of the sales process; initial contact, qualifying needs, and closing sales• Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business• Effectively demonstrate the product line• Manage orders from point of purchase through completion• Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas• Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors• Voice of the customer to communicate market insights from the retail level to management• Always maintain a professional company image• Deal with various technology and equipment to fulfill the job requirements• Additional duties may be assigned
