Job Summary:

A Recovery Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This is a job that rewards performance and compliance offering a monthly commission based on performance to goal. This role is supported by a Team Leader.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The scheduled hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
• Place outgoing phone calls and receive incoming phone calls to collect debt.
• Exceed a monthly production goal.
• Meet/exceed productivity metrics.
• Work with others to consistently better skillset in a positive work environment.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

• Learns quickly and has strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong negotiation and active listening skills.
• Posses strong typing/computer skills.
• Ability to professionally communicate with managers, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous collection or call center experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Language Skills: Clear and concise communication is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills on and off the phone, including active listening with the ability to type and talk.

Other Skills and Abilities: Strong computer skills are necessary for this position. Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Have a strong business knowledge in the specific area(s) of responsibility.
