The Inspector has the final responsibility for the acceptance of material into the WFCo supply chain via incoming material inspection and final inspection of WFCo produced parts. The Supervisor will initiate any nonconformance report of substandard material and will assist in the resolution and/or corrective action process. The Inspector must effectively interface with all levels of the organization to resolve and prevent issues from impacting our customers or our company.
Ø Perform accurate visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspection of raw materials and finished product as per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements.
Ø Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspection of parts, assemblies, and finished products.
Ø Initiate, distribute, and assist with resolving Non-Conformity and Corrective Action Requests as required.
Ø Read and interpret specifications and part prints to identify product requirements.
Ø Assist warehouse personnel with inbound receiving & put away of approved material.
Ø Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment.
Ø Track all inspections within the applicable software.
Ø Maintenance of the right-the-first time (RTFT) log for all FAI’s of new parts.
Ø Development of a feedback loop whereas the QC Inspector will provide feedback to
Ø CSRs on improvements in packaging to avoid minor non-conformances in the future.
Ø Control product release function by ensuring that quarantine and other non-conformance issues are given priority product disposition with CSR support.
Ø Control product release function by ensuring that proper priority is given to same-day shipping products coming from vendors, the print shop, and/or the digital room.

Requirements
Education:
Ø A minimum High School Diploma, associate degree in quality, Engineering, Operations, or
Ø Business preferred.
Experience:
Ø 4 or more years in Leadership role, QC Inspection experience.
Ø Must have experience working in an ISO 9000 environment.
Ø In-depth knowledge of quality methodologies, including 8D, SCARS, and APQP.
Ø Experience performing internal and external Quality Audits preferred.
Competencies:
Ø Ability to measure geometric tolerances and dimensions.
Ø Ability to inspect accurate color specifications.
Ø Driven to action and tends carefully to fine details.
Ø Clear and concise communicator.
Ø Proficient in the use of ERP, Excel, and other software tools.
