RTA Group is Hiring an Engineer Technician Near Odessa, TX
o Engineering BOMs
o Create and maintain engineering BOMs
o RFQ engineering BOMs
o Evaluate quotes and interface with engineers and buyerso P&IDs
o Ensure all line numbers, cross sheet arrows, tagging, andscope/spec breaks are correct and consistent
o Incorporate design information into equipment title blocks
o Participate in walk downs and confirm equipment aligns withP&IDs prior to shipment
o Engineering Documents
o Create PSV and control valve data sheets, populate all non-calculation data, Generate PDFs
o Create cause & effect matrix, populate the documentexcluding the actions and setpoints
o Create utility spreadsheets, line list, paint list, shipping list,spare parts list, etc.
o Make certain Document Control receives correct designdocuments, IOMs, and vendor data books; Review Job Bookbefore shipment
Requirements
Proficient in reading and developing P&IDs1 year of relevant Engineering Tech experience in the natural gas industry
Safety Requirements Compliance with federal/state/local law, industry and client standards, andcompany safety policies.Exhibits professionalism by establishing effective relationships withother employees
o Manages individual time by building due dates into assignments andthen prioritizes work to accomplish more in less time
o Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately,handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activities
o Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
o Position is largely sedentary
o Repetitious hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email andcellphoneo Extensive visual and auditory observation during work
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
