The Lot Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the automotive dealership. This role involves moving vehicles, posting cars, ordering parts, running errands, and providing general assistance to various departments as needed. The ideal candidate should have a can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Move vehicles within the dealership lot, ensuring proper organization and space optimization.
Gas vehicles up and ensure they are presentable for display and test drives.
Assist with vehicle inspections, documenting any damages or issues accurately.
Ordering and picking up parts or supplies, delivering documents, or transporting customers.
Provide general assistance to different departments, including sales and service based on business needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the lot, storage areas, etc.
Take photos of vehicles and post for advertising purposes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
Ability to drive and maneuver different types of vehicles, including manual transmission if required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and customers professionally.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., tires, equipment) as needed.
