The Talent Analytics Sr Analyst is member of the Talent Analytics team as part of the broader Talent Systems and Technology COE delivering cross functional products and services. This individual is responsible for a mix of deep-dive technical work as well as gathering requirements and some project management. This individual uses technical skills such as business intelligence tool development, the latest Data Science technology including Python and R for exploratory data analysis and predictive modeling, and the SQL Server suite to perform their essential duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Advanced Data Analytics and Data Modeling - executes and articulates complex statistical and analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, etc.) with stakeholder feedback.

2. Problem Solving- uses analytics to solve key business questions and provides support for core business functions incorporating proactive outreach on trends and external benchmarking

3. Project Management and Analyst Functions - balances multiple small to medium size projects across a variety of Talent/HR areas and manages client expectations and outcomes related to the return on investment to meet client needs

4. Analytics Tools and Technology - works with the Talent Systems and Technology teams to optimize and evaluate the best in class tools to meet business needs

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS(MUST NOTE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or similar from an accredited college/university(Required)

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS(MUST NOTE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)

• Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation (Required)
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL , etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets (Required)
• Experience in SQL/NoSQL or other DB query language as well as DB design and development (Required)
• Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Tableau, PowerBI or similar (Required)
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability(Required)
• Excellent communication, relationship skills and a strong team player (Required)
• Strong presentation skills. Ability to present statistical results in an easy to understand way. (Required)
• Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Human Resources, Operations Research, Data Science or similar from an accredited college/university (Preferred)
• Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, or datamining practice/techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest

EXPERIENCE(MUST NOTE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)

• 2-3 years relevant work or research experience (Required)

LEADERSHIP SKILLS(MUST NOTE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)

• Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc. (Preferred)* Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks (Preferred)
• Experience in Human Resources (Preferred)
• Utilizing Statistical Natural Language Processing (NLP), lexical analysis and semantic processing (Preferred)
