PxT Infrastructure Solutions is a dynamic eMobility company focusing on EV and renewable infrastructure and is seeking a self-starting, highly organized, process-oriented Project Manager for the Florida and Southeast markets.
Job Description
Summary/Objective:
The EV Project Manager will be responsible for and managing multiple projects in various stages. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to oversee and manage a project from client / site introduction through to commissioning and closeout. Site assessment, site design, electrical knowledge, utility engagement for new service requests is required skills. Subcontractor management, project scheduling and financials along with the ability to maintain company safety standards are a must.
This Project Manager will be assigned to multiple clients and sectors of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The position requires a high level of responsibility with a strong electrical knowledge and project management experience required.
Essential Functions:
- Electrical service and distribution knowledge
- Experience interacting with utility companies
- Perform site assessments and site designs
- EV Charging systems knowledge
- Project planning, site surveys, electrical and EV design
- Ability to manage project team members
- Manage various clients across multiple sectors and regions
- Formulate and verify scope of work
- Obtain proposals from vendors and level project pricing
- Evaluate and reconcile vendor invoices
- Prepare project schedule, oversee weekly progress and construction
- Responsible for the on time completion of all projects
- Financially responsible for all projects including all proposals, contracts, invoicing, change orders, closeouts and profitability
- Ability to propose projects to specific clients needs
- Achieve profit margins for all project
- Conduct Project subcontractor and client meetings
- Submittal of equipment logs for approval and processing
- Prepare Master Subcontractor Agreements and Purchase orders
- Prepare two week look a heads and weekly updates
- Provide monthly accounting of all projects
- RFI logs and change order management
- Track meetings with minutes
- Obtain Insurance certificates for owner, landlord, property managers
- Estimating experience (preferred but not required)
- Liaison to client, landlord, property managers and subcontractors for specific projects
- Must be able to perform the job physically from remote office Monday through Friday during normal business hours and be available as needed for site visits and travel with advance notice
- Comply with the company protocol and procedures at all times
- Highly organized with strong communication skills
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
