RSA is Hiring an Office Manager with Financial Emphasis Near Sioux Falls, SD

RSA is a growing architectural, planning, and interior design firm located in Sioux Falls, SD, that works on all types of projects, including office, retail, educational, hospitality, criminal justice, industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, religious, healthcare, community wellness and recreation, financial, municipal, county, state, and multi-family. Our primary market area includes South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and North Dakota. We also work with clients who have projects across the nation.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager with a strong financial background to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the efficient and effective operation of our office, with a primary focus on financial management and oversight. If you have a passion for finance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to ensure that the financial aspects of our business run smoothly, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:

    • Monitor and manage the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    • Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
    • Complete bank deposits.
    • Assist with year-end financials.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Administrative Oversight:

    • Supervise and lead the administrative team, providing guidance and support.
    • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
    • Maintain office records and documentation related to finances.
  • Expense Management:

    • Create and maintain the company's expense tracking system.
    • Review and approve office-related expenditures.
    • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations:

    • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
    • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of office supplies and services.
  • Financial Reporting:

    • Generate financial reports for management, including profit and loss statements.
    • Provide analysis and insights into financial performance.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:

    • Monitor employee reimbursables, payroll reports, and time off reports.
    • Monintor comissions reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous office management experience is a plus.
