This is a full-time on-site role as a Municipal Finance Analyst located in Lexington, KY. As a Municipal Finance Analyst at RSA Advisors, LLC, you will be responsible for providing transactional support to investment bankers’ activities related to the structuring and issuance of municipal bonds through negotiated, competitive sale, or via private placement.

Responsibilities include the monitoring of current economic events and information, application of in-house technology for market information to update financial models and projections, and assisting in the development of bond structuring alternatives and credit rating materials. In coordination with senior staff, the analyst will prepare marketing and informational presentations and reports as related to our clients’ needs including annual bond disclosure reports. The selected candidate will be evaluated and given feedback regularly.

Other analyzing financial data, conducting research, and providing insights for various municipal finance projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, assist with investment strategies, and support client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Equivalent Major with demonstrated record of high achievement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of municipal finance, financial markets, and investment concepts
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with Bloomberg Terminal and other financial software is a plus
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Job Functions

• Quantitative analysis and preparation of financial models, cash flow, and debt service analysis
• Evaluation of financing alternatives
• Monitoring of tax-exempt bond markets
• Rating agency credit presentation development
• Preparation of research, correspondence, and special reports on current issues in municipal finance
• Support for marketing and new business development, including assisting in responding to Requests for Proposals for Municipal Advisory Services
• Gathering, organizing and analyzing information necessary to prepare proposals, client presentations, offering statements, and marketing materials
• Data development and analytical processing skills, a proficient knowledge of available computer programs and improvement of data processing systems to enhance departmental efficiency
• Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business
• Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities
• Other such duties, responsibilities, and authority as may be reasonably required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
